Deborah Cook, Allied Member ASID
Deborah earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from Johnson County Community College in 1997.
She has worked in the industry since 1995:
- Assistant to BJ Eichhorn, ASID
- Dick Messerschmidt, INC--a furniture manufacturer's rep
- Western Chandelier in lighting sales
- Deborah served on the Board of Missouri West/Kansas Chapter of ASID as Treasurer
- She became a full time free- lance interior designer in 2002.
- Deborah showed love of interior design from an early age: rearranging her room, friends rooms, and overall organization of spaces.

Her work has been featured in KCH&G magazine, KC STAR, & Pleasant Hill Times. The KC Home Show has showcased Designs by Deborah in their feature home, and she has also been featured on local radio & TV.
Designs by Deborah is based on the belief that her customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Deborah is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of her business is from repeat customers and referrals. She credits her parents for her strong work ethic & prides herself on treating each customer with respect & the Golden Rule.

Deborah resides with her husband, Alan, and thier two children, Alexandra & William, in Pleasant Hill, MO. Hobbies include going to their cabin at Lake of the Ozarks, gardening, church activities, travel abroad, and they enjoy involvement in a national car club.
